01

What it is

What is MobyMax?

An American curriculum taught online.

MobyMax is an online learning platform that teaches the American curriculum from Kindergarten through Grade 8. These levels are comparable to Namibian Grades 1 through 9.

02

Who it suits

The right fit

A clear structure that adjusts to the learner.

MobyMax works especially well for families who want a clear homeschool structure without forcing every learner through identical work at an identical pace.

Learning gaps

Placement assessments reveal missing Mathematics and English skills before they become larger obstacles.

Independent progress

Learners work through short lessons at a pace that fits their concentration and current skill level.

Flexible families

Learning can continue anywhere with internet access, around travel, sport, health or family life.

Preparation for later study

Completing the programme through Grade 9 can prepare learners for GED® study or another secondary option.

03

How it works

A personalised learning loop

Assess. Learn. Practise. Progress.

  1. 01
    Start with placement

Mathematics and English assessments identify the learner's current level and specific gaps.

  2. 02
Assign lessons at the right level

MobyMax assigns lessons at the right level instead of assuming that grade and ability are always the same.

  3. 03
    Strengthen through practice

Continuous practice and targeted re-teaching help learners master concepts before moving ahead.

  4. 04
    Keep the wider curriculum moving

Science and Social Studies are presented at the learner's selected grade level.

04

What they learn

Four core subjects

A broad academic foundation.

Sequenced instruction, fact fluency, number sense, problem-solving and targeted gap-filling.
