Prepare with Educe Namibia.
Educe Namibia is an Authorized education partner for GED®. We help learners understand the pathway, use the preparation programme, monitor progress, plan subject readiness and prepare for the official examination process.
What it is
A high school equivalency credential earned through four exams.
The GED® is an alternative high school equivalency credential. Learners earn it by passing four official subject examinations: Mathematical Reasoning, Reasoning Through Language Arts, Science and Social Studies.
Preparation is not the credential.
The online GED® Academy programme helps you study for the exams. The official GED® Ready® practice tests and GED® examinations are booked and paid for separately.
Who it suits
Flexible does not mean effortless.
The GED® is best suited to motivated learners aged 16 or older who need an alternative to traditional secondary schooling and are ready to study consistently.
A flexible option when mainstream schooling no longer fits health, travel, work or family needs.
A high school equivalency credential that some colleges, training providers and universities accept.
A way to complete an important educational milestone without returning to a conventional classroom.
Recognition and admission are not universal.
Institutions and employers set their own admission requirements. Always confirm acceptance with the specific university, college, training provider or employer you plan to approach.
The pathway
One subject at a time.
-
01
Prepare online
Work through lessons, practice and revision across the four GED® subjects at your own pace.
-
02
Demonstrate readiness
Complete the official GED® Ready® practice test for a subject and reach the required readiness level.
-
03
Write the official exam
Pay for and schedule that subject examination separately, then write it in person in Windhoek or Ongwediva. Subjects do not have to be written all at once.
-
04
Complete all four
Pass all four official subject examinations to earn the GED® credential.
Official GED® examinations are paid separately.
Your Educe plan covers online preparation and the selected support level. GED® Ready® practice tests and official GED® examination fees are additional. Any failed practice test or examination must be bought again.
What you study
Knowledge plus critical thinking.
Mathematical Reasoning
Algebra, geometry, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving and real-world Mathematics.
